Privacy Policy

Account data. When you register or sign in we collect email address, authentication identifiers, and password (handled by our auth provider; we do not store plaintext passwords). You may also provide firm or practice name, role, and onboarding details.

Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, plan, and customer identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Product usage. Watches, rules, alert preferences, delivery channels (e.g. email, Slack webhook URL, Teams webhook), and delivery logs needed to operate alerts. Channel credentials you enter (webhook URLs, chat IDs) are stored to send notifications you requested.

Technical data. IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from IP; cookies or similar technologies for session and security; optional privacy-friendly analytics if enabled.

Public source data. The Service monitors public court and agency sources (e.g. CourtListener, Federal Register, agency sites). That public content is not your personal data, but may be associated with your watches and deliveries.

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service (alerts, rules, multi-channel delivery)
• Authenticate users, enforce trial/subscription limits, and prevent abuse
• Process payments and send transactional email (signup, password reset, alerts)
• Respond to support requests and communicate product-critical notices
• Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use alert content about your matters to train public AI models.

We share data only as needed with:

• Infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, database/auth, email delivery)
• Stripe for billing
• Channel destinations you configure (email inbox, Slack, Teams, webhooks, etc.) when delivering alerts you requested
• Public data providers when calling APIs to fulfill watches (e.g. CourtListener)
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect legitimate interests

We use essential cookies for authentication and security. We may use limited analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break login.

We retain account and product data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion as described below, subject to legal retention needs.

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, access controls, provider security features). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your password and limit access to shared firm accounts.

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service you understand that data may be transferred to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of protection as your home country.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact hello@lexelyon.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

The Service is directed to legal professionals and businesses. It is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice when appropriate.
